This encompasses well-baby care with immunizations, patient education, treatment of routine illnesses of childhood, monitoring of appropriate growth and development and methods of dealing with the interactions of children with parents and other siblings. The depth of our pediatric clinical staff is demonstrated by the provision of care to children with almost any type of disease known to mankind.

In addition to routine and minor complaints, the emergency department at Children's Hospital of Michigan, which is staffed by WSU pediatricians, treats any and all medical problems of children. This ranges from rashes to motor-vehicle accidents.
