Academic Radiation Oncologists offer the full scope of radiation therapy services for men, women and children with malignant tumors as well as cancer of the blood. This highlights the specialized radiation therapy technologies available here, many of which go beyond those offered in conventional radiotherapy departments.

The WSU radiation oncology staff includes board-certified physicians, physicists and experts in cancer biology who work as a team to plan and deliver the safest, most effective treatment possible for more than 3,000 patients annually.

Our doctors are a part of the Karmanos Cancer Institute, which operates the Meyer L. Prentis Comprehensive Cancer Center of Metropolitan Detroit, one of only two cancer programs in Michigan to achieve designation by the National Cancer Institute for excellence in research. The radiation therapy program is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.
